Save The Ducks Clean Our Planet
Funded Apr 20, 2022The Samsung project has created a new level of achievement, purpose, and desire to learn for my students. When we entered the "Samsung Solve for Tomorrow" contest last year, we were unaware of just how amazing the journey was going to be. Prior, our classes have never took on a competition and was only vaguely familiar with problem based learning. As we worked with Samsung and investigated different ideas to stop pollution from entering our ocean and bays, as well as save the ducklings, I watched the students "light bulbs " go off. They worked as a team and came up with incredible solutions to solve the issue sustainably. The donations given by Samsung allowed my classroom the experience of a lifetime. They were able to explore science in a more intimate and resourceful way, realizing how, through science, we can better contribute to the world and humanity. Thank you Samsung!”
