As a first year teacher, there are many items that I would like to be able to add to my classroom to create an organized, and welcoming environment. I think it is important for a classroom to be organized in order to minimize any distractions or chaos that could otherwise become a distraction. The extra classroom supplies will help us to transition in lessons smoothly with minimal distraction. The flex seating in a classroom creates a whole different aspect of learning. When students feel the most comfortable, they are willing and ready to learn. I would like to be able to give students the ability to use flex seating during lessons and independent practice time on a rotation so that each student gets a turn with these resources.
