I understand this list is quite overwhelming and I am trying to learn how to use this amazing resource ~ please be patient with me. I work in a Title One school and like others, our rural community has been hit hard with COVID and the loss of jobs. The use of white boards, dry erase markers, and erasers will be used daily in the classroom especially for math. This will allow me to see what strategy the students are using, have the students explain and show their work to other students, and to ensure the items at hand work. The Times Table book is full of creative stories to help students remember/memorize the multiplication facts. The colored pencils, scissors, black markers, rulers, pencil sharpeners, and highlighters are going to be used for project based learning. Project based learning is a process to develop skill and understanding in project form and how it relates to the real world. These projects will engage students and encourage them to use critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. The rolling cart, mailboxes, and chart will allow them to store their projects and materials in an organized manner within the classroom and not have to take them home. By donating to any one of these projects you will help increase academic achievement and overall student success. Thank you for your help and consideration. I truly appreciate it!
