We use a reward-based system in our classroom to support and promote positive behaviors, mathematical discussions, and purposeful group work. We want the rewards to reflect the hard work that our students put in day in and day out. Our students get motivated even more when they see our candy/snacks supplies restocked and when we show off the prizes they can win. We want to diversify the pool of prizes to increase the buy-in and excitement in our room. We've seen an increase in all the behaviors we want to see, we just want to keep this going forward throughout the rest of the school year.
