• iPad for Small Groups!

  Thank you for your donation! Having an iPad in the classroom has been amazing! I use it in small groups working with students. I also use it with students who struggle to use the computers. The students were so excited about this donation as well. They are also able to purchase game time on the iPad with their school dollars. It has been a great tool to use with all students.

• Morning Work Bins!

  This donation was truly amazing. My students use morning bins every single day. It is a great way for our class to unwind when they get to school. It allows them to socialize, eat breakfast, but still be hands on. I find may days run a lot smoother because of the time they are allotted to build, work together, share, and catch up with each other. This project has also inspired other teachers to incorporate morning bins into the classroom.

• Alternative Seating Choices

  My 2nd grade students were so excited to receive your donation! We spent a week taking turns using each item that was sent. Once everyone had a chance to use them I had a couple of students who's learning really benefited from sitting in a wobble stool while they learned, so they will keep them as their everyday seat.

  As a class we had a really great discussion about how to properly use alternative seating. We also discussed how every student has different needs. Not everyone needs or is able to sit in a wobble stool. We talked about when a good time to use a resource would be, because we all have days where alternative seating is helpful.

  We are so grateful for your donation. For our next project we are asking for art supplies. Items like paint brushes, pastels, clay, etc. are not provided by our school. We will be using these items to create holiday gifts, science projects, and artist studies. Thank you for your donation!”
