  • Clipboards, Books, and Games OH MY!

    Because of your generous donation to our clssroom, My scholars klearning has greatly improved! We are able to use our clipboards and whiteboards daily wduring math and reading. My students love the learning games and it has helped them become better readers.

    The kids love the social emotional learning books and we have read them many times to be better students and be kind everyday. These donations have made our classroom an exciting place to learn and have fun! We are so thanklful!

    Many of my students have asked to read the read aloud books that were donated and they absolutely love them. They know to take good care of them and read them with a reading buddy to make it even more fun.

    This classroom project was brought to life by Bill Gates and one other donor.
I am asking for support to purchase a rug for our classroom next year, I have been teaching for 3 years but this will be my first year with my own classroom. The data I have seen shows that students love to come together somewhere special other than their desk. I want to give them that freedom to grab a clipboard and come learn on the rug. I want to host family meetings on our rug and talk about how this rug is ours and makes us a family to talk and share our feelings. It will give the students something beautiful in our room that makes them smile when they walk in instead of a brown carpet. We don't have any windows in our classroom so it is my hope to fill our room with nature and plants and lots of color so that even though we don't receive sunlight, they can still come in and feel the happiness of our classroom.
