This donation was so amazing for my classroom!! I cannot thank you enough! These bins have provided an extra organization and sense of responsibility for my students. Other teachers loved the bins and even want to input them within their classrooms. It makes life much easier to have access to all materials right "next door" to them. It also allows them to not be distracted with things inside of their desk which can be a huge struggle for some kiddos. The pencils are great because sometimes their pencils get lost, lost again, and lost one more time. Where?? The world may never know :) but these extras have assisted so much! Thank you!!”

This rug has done wonders! I am able to gather everyone to the rug and put them in their designated colors. When we gather, we read stories, and we talk about them using turning talks. I ask two colors to turn and the other two turn to each other and it makes it so much easier. The librarian and the IT teacher also utilize the rug. It is truly amazing to see the growth they've made this far just from being able to socialize on the rug. I also use the rug for indoor recess which we've had to do a couple times. It allows more opportunity for collaboration and socialization.”
These books added so much fun to reading! When I opened the boxes and showed them all the new choices, they had they were floored. They were eager to be in independent reading small group station. Every day I could hear the adventure happening in that station. They loved the Actual Size book. That is the book that shows life size pictures of a gorilla hand, an alligator nose, and an anteater's tongue just to name a few. They would ask me, "Mrs. James, is this real??". Another favorite was the Pigeon series. As we learned about punctuation and what the different ones meant, I saw children applying their knowledge of punctuation to these books. Pigeon would use a wide range of emotion and they mimicked it perfectly!”

My students have had such a blast with these materials. They enjoyed learning how to use the ankle ball spinner. They also loved learning how to use the hula hoops. They would often times yell, "Mrs. James look what I can do"! They had two favorites that they enjoyed using the most. The ribbons and the rockets! They would run freely with the ribbon blowing in the wind yelling and enjoying every moment. The rockets were amazing to them as they jumped down and made the rockets soar through the air! This was so awesome to see my students loving their recess and free time so much. I can't thank you enough for providing these materials!!”

These library chairs were a big hit in my classroom! The children absolutely loved sitting in them for their independent reading time. They were relaxed and playful. Sometimes they would share them and work on their peer relationships and reading skills. When we did rotations, they were so elated to make to this station. They were comfortable and willing to read. These chairs made it a little easier for them to want to go to independent reading. Some children found it hard and therefore they didn't like reading. These chairs helped with that reluctancy, thank you!”

With your donation, I find myself much more organized and prepared for my small groups. For reading I have five different groups. Each group is at a different level and requires a different book and sight words. Each person also has there own writing journal. I have things stored in the bins of the organizer right by my side. When I need something I just reach over and grab it simple and easy peasy lemon squeezey!”

With your donation, we are making progress towards mastering our kindergarten standards of speaking and listening. When the weather isn't fit for us to go outside for recess we have indoor recess. All of these toys are utilized and enjoyed tremendously! They work together and they spend time together with no care in the world! These are some of the best moments in kindergarten! Thank you for supporting this project and helping my students practice communication skills and learn how to work and play together!!”

With your donation, we are making progress towards mastering our kindergarten standards. Many of our students love the pop and learn letter name and number game. They also love the puzzle game. They work together in small groups to connect the number with the correct picture. They are practicing their one-to-one correspondence with this center! Most of our students can count to 10 with one-to-one correspondence which is a very big feat in Kindergarten!”

Thank you for donating these chairs to our classroom! The children had to adjust to them it was kind of funny to watch them figure out how to sit. Once they got the hang of it they truly enjoyed themselves! They had fun sitting in the front of the class and writing for independent writing. They wanted to collaborate more. These chairs are an exciting addition to our class and I cannot wait to use them more and more! I look forward to warmer temperatures so that we can use them outside. I know that will definitely boost their willingness to write.”

Thanks to your generous donation. My classroom has been able to use their journals for drawing and be happy about it! They have the space and opportunity in their books to draw and let their imaginations run completely wild! It has been a truly amazing journey to watch them grow. The students utilize their journals every single day for our writing block. On Fridays, when we share out they are so excited to bring up their work and have it projected for all their friends to see! As we come to the close of the year I believe that each and every page of their journals will be covered in their personality. Cover to cover your donations had a huge impact. Thank you so very much!”

These materials will help students while learning math and ELA. They will have a fun opportunity to make connections and transfer information from textbooks to games.
Students will be motivated to read books where they can see people who look like them! Being able to see yourself while reading encourages and enriches the learning experience!
Finally, students will enjoy independent reading time as we put headlights on and turn off the lights to enjoy reading under the starry night! A beautiful educational masterpiece to be created just as Vincent van Gogh did!
