In a special education classroom we are constantly trying to give our students systems to support their independence. We want the system to be easily understood, visually appealing, and student friendly. Our goal is to create a color coordinated work system so that every student can independently retrieve their math, reading, art, and writing materials from their color. This project will provide our students with opportunities to work on important independent life skills that will prepare them for participation in general education classrooms and in the middle school years to come.

About my class
