Help my students return back to school with the tools necessary to make their learning engaging and enriching. My students and I are both brand new to 2nd grade! This is also my first classroom ever! We are excited to embark on this new adventure together but we need the tools to fill up our brand new classroom. I want my students to feel that they are in a home away from home where they can build community with friends from all walks of life. These materials, such as the math manipulatives, games, and classroom wall posters will help me provide math instruction that is not only engaging but gives students tangible tools for counting and adding/subtracting big numbers. Our school is a writing-based school as well. So ELA materials would help me and my students learn not only how to creatively write but to revise and edit already written work. I would also like to provide students with tools that make reading more engaging. All of these tools will also help with differentiation so that I can reach all learners in all subjects. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
