Dynamic Colors for Dyslexia

Thank you for funding our project and helping facilitate the learning process. My student's eyes lit up when they saw the donated items! Pop-its are popular but sometimes our kids cannot afford one. We are using them in our dyslexia lab to sort out sounds after teaching spelling patterns. The highlighters are used to highlight words in our reading passages that have the spelling pattern being taught. You will help many with your donations. This classroom project was brought to life by Charles Butt Foundation and one other donor.

I'd like to obtain sensory student incentives that aid with stress relief, and help lower anxiety for our dyslexia lab to use with my amazing group of students. This will also be used for phonemic awareness. The students at my campus are extremely hard working, with some of our most dedicated students working in the dyslexia lab. These students must meet the same testing requirements, and yet have to overcome a serious setback, and they do so with a lot of heart. Children need motivation as much as they need to be challenged, and this group of students have proven time and again they can achieve high expectations; let's motivate them and keep them happy while they work!
