  • Back to Basics: 2nd Semester Supply Restock

    Funded Dec 22, 2021

I am extremely grateful for your contribution to my classroom. Being able to purchase these essential items allowed me and my students to start off the second semester strong. Your donations not only gave my students access to daily supplies such as pencils and erasers but also helped keep them healthy by providing them with face masks, wipes to clean their desks, hand sanitizer, and quality face tissues. This project also gave students access to nutritious snacks such as granola bars, peanut butter crackers, and fruit leather, which was essential for their growth as no mind can truly engage in learning when feeling hunger. Thank you again for your support!”

  • An Organized Classroom is a Happy Classroom!

    Funded May 20, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom. The storage shelves have made a tremendous impact in improving classroom systems and organization. Students now have their own space to store their items including pencil pouches, folders, and journals. This has really helped students take ownership of their learning and space. Each day they walk in knowing exactly where to find their materials and at the end of each lesson they take special care to store all of their hard work for future review. This does not only help them in my classroom but also teaches them the valuable life skill of taking responsibility of one's belongings and space.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Matulewicz

As our first semester of 100% in-person learning comes to an end, I am looking forward to another semester filled with student growth and joy. Of course, in order to achieve this, my students will need access to basic essential supplies to meet their academic and social-emotional goals. Helping to fund this project will give my students basic tools like pencils, erasers, tissues, extra masks, and sanitizer as well as access to a collection of healthy snacks to fuel them. Having these supplies ready to go by the start of our second semester will help my students feel both secure and cared for in the classroom by placing their immediate needs first so that they may fully engage with classroom content!
