  • Dog Man, Dog Man, What Are You Up To?

    From the bottom of our hearts thank you all for your generous donations. My class is excited to take home a Summer Dog-man Book that they will enjoy and escape to an exciting fictional world. My class has the most students in our entire campus excelling in our accelerated program. I hope I have instilled the love of reading for many years to come to all my students. With your help this summer book will remain with them for many years to come. The joy of reading will always play an important role in my students' life for years to come.”

  • Sparkling Imagination and More!

    Thank you for donating to my classroom project. These books have and will provide my classroom with many different learning experiences. Picture books are a perfect way to teach reading skills such as making inferences, predictions, drawing conclusions and getting to know characters' feelings and actions.

    My classroom consist of early emergent readers along with independent readers. Our reading time in class is a total of 120 minutes, which consists of Accelerated Reading, decodable readers, different genres per week, and reading for enjoyment. Your donation will continue to provide many different titles and themes to our classroom library.

    My bilingual students were very excited to view the new picture books in class. They rely on visuals, and characters cues by examining facial expressions. These books provide exactly that. My GT population excitedly reached for their favorite authors and began reading.

    Once again Thank you all so much. We will read these books daily and continue to spark their imaginations.”
