Students continue to come to school with ipads that are not charged, and colored pencils are always a need. Their chargers are sometimes malfunctioning so they can charge their ipads in school and then return home with charged ipads to use at home. Sometimes, the projects we ask students to do at home require creativity and color. The colored pencils can be distributed to students to take home for their use on these projects. The student population that I teach, many are homeless and need all the help we can give to learn all they can.
