Students will be given the opportunity to be exposed to new types of literature through these new books. Many of our students come to school with limited experiences and/or knowledge of important figures in history. Fourth graders will be given the opportunity to learn new concepts with these books through the use of literature circles, small reading groups, or independent reading. Many of our students have limited access to reading materials at home, so having a wide range of literature at school is important to allow students the ability to read many different types of books.
