Recent data and statistics have proven reading can improve vocabulary skills, speaking skills, and comprehension skills (reading and writing). Children who are motivated to read will grow into lifelong readers.  Students who are motivated to read will do well academically if given the proper tools to succeed. The literacy center can help our students with fundamental values to build vocabulary and reading and writing skills. Most importantly, I can design specific literacy activities to address my students' needs in independent and small group interactions. It will help my students who face learning challenges.
