As a teacher, I have seen amazing growth in reading comprehension in my students when I read to them and they follow along. When they are able to follow along with what I am reading, they become more involved in the story and truly enjoy it. Having the book in front them after I have read to them also helps them to go back into the text to find text evidence when answering questions. I truly believe that once a child is able to read, they are able to accomplish anything.

About my class
