Sitting down on a hard chair for long hours is uncomfortable and paying attention to someone becomes harder to do. With flexible seating, my students will be able to have the freedom to pick a spot around the classroom to do their independent work.
In previous years my wiggly students were able to use classroom pillows to complete their independent work unfortunately COVID makes it challenging for them to share the pillows. When it is time for Independent work time, their eyes shine as they are able to move to a different spot in the classroom! I have 27 different learners and I can definitely see that when they get the freedom to pick their spot. Some like working on their bellies, others criss-cross apple sauce, some on their backs, others stay at their desks.
With these colorful cushions and stools, students can have a safe flexible seating in classroom with being able to easily wipe after each use!
