Classroom culture and unity are a priority in our classroom! This will be my first year teaching 1st grade and there are many resources that I need for my beginning learners. Having a rug large enough for all of us to come together during our community circle time and whole group lessons would enhance my students' learning abilities. The colors will give us the ability to keep students grouped accordingly. Each student would have their own space to focus and participate from throughout the day. Students will also have a designated area to move and dance during our brain breaks while keeping safe distance from other students. This would also be beneficial to classroom management so that students can easily transition from one activity to the next. The structure provided with this rug will improve their learning environment and classroom experience. All the while uniting our classroom in a true community style.
