My students have exceptionalities, come from a variety of cultures, and live in a low-income inner-city area. I will use $100 Gift Card for Educational Resources on Teachers Pay Teachers because I must adapt my teaching to meet students' needs. The population I work with is notorious for not "fitting in" to the structures provided to the majority of students. Adapting student learning is essential to meeting needs and inspiring independence. I need to have the versatility and support to find what works and provide students with the right tools. I will use TPT gift cards to give me this ability to adapt to the student. Too often teachers are tied to a curriculum and do not have the resources to diversify the lesson to meet all of the students where they are. I will not allow some of my students to be successful while allowing other students to fail due to their differences. All of my students will be supported in their learning and be given the support they deserve.
