• Book Clubs!

  Thank you so much for donating money to get books in my classroom. My students have been engaged in reading these books during book clubs. We have been doing reading group rotations. The students have 4 different stations: reading, writing questions, looking at vocabulary, and then discussing the book. I have noticed that the students have increased their fluency, vocabulary understanding, and are asking engaging and thoughtful questions throughout the book club process.

  Thank you so much for your donation to my project. With the supplies that I was able to receive thanks to you, I was able to create engaging and fulfilling lessons for my students. I was also able to buy books for my classroom library for students to enjoy for many years to come. Teaching children to love to read is one of my very favorite things about being a teacher. Thanks to your donation I can continue to pass on my love for reading to the students in my classroom.

• Classroom Books and Supplies

  Thank you so much for donating to my class to receive classroom books and supplies. With your donation, I was able to collect all of the books needed for the Battle of the Books Competition. This competition encourages and teaches students to love to read. I was also able to complete many enriched lessons to increase engagement with the classroom supplies that you so generously donated. I so appreciate the support to my classroom. Without this support, I would not be able to be as successful with my teaching as I always hope I can be!

• Help Students Academically and Emotionally!

  The resources that my classroom received as a result of this grant has been incredible. My students are able to use the calm down, fidgets, and anxiety reducing materials to build a calm down station in my classroom. It has become a place that students look forward to when they are anxious, annoyed, or frustrated. It is a quiet place they can go to refocus and regroup before rejoining the classroom.

  The games have helped my students that are behind because of the pandemic. The fraction war, fraction bingo, and fraction multipliers are helping my students to be engaged in fractions in an engaging and fun way. These hands on learning materials have helped to change my students attitude and engagement with fractions.

  When my students saw all of the boxes that were delivered to my classroom, they could not believe that it was all donated to the classroom. They were excited, elated, and overjoyed to be able to have all of the classroom supplies that they wanted and needed.”
