Thank you so much for the bottom of our hearts! It meant the world to my students to be able to have individual materials that they could call their own. This year I don't have to worry about sharing folders and supplies, thanks to all of you and your donations.
They each received a binder, that they could call their own. This is where they can collect their reading progress and see how far they have come.
The table top easel allows the students to clearly see the examples and modeling I do during each lesson.

Imagine you were 10 years old sitting in a classroom trying to sound out words while your class is reading aloud fluently. Every day my students struggle with literacy and self confidence. The white boards will allow for frequent practice with reading and writing words. The index cards and binder rings will provide my students with individual sight word card rings. These materials will allow me to provide my students with a direct multi-sensory approach to reading. Each child requires their own binder to monitor their progress during the intervention. I am an out of the classroom special educator, working with students who are struggling with reading. I have been trained in several reading intervention programs. These supplies are portable and reusable. They will give us the ability to work anywhere. This will promote confidence and success in my students!
