  • Decrease Summer Loss with Engaging Summer Learning!

    The supplies I was able to purchase through this donors choose project has given the students a jump start into the next grade. It allowed the students to practice over the summer to reduce summer loss and support engaged summer learning through educational games and activities.

    These materials are essential to the success of students because it allows the next teacher to jump into new, grade level curriculum without having to go back and reteach the previous grade standards to get everyone caught up and back on track after the summer break.”

  • Resupply Kindergarten

    This project allowed the kindergarten teachers at Bedington Elementary to reapply our 60 kindergarten students with needed materials to get through the year.

    Your generosity and gracious donation allowed every student to have a water bottle to use throughout the year with their name on it. It has been very difficult since the onset of Covid and everything needing to be sanitized between students. They could not use the water fountain. This project allowed every student to have water at school at all time to met the need of hydration. Thank you!”

  • Kindergarten "FUN" Materials

    The students have LOVED all the supplies we were able to purchase through your donations. We have fresh, soft play-doh for reading stations and free choice station. We have markers and big sheets for paper for group work and brainstorming activities. We will be using the white t-shirt later in the school year to tye-dye. The kids throughly enjoy this outside project and the keepsake from kindergarten. I would like to express much gratitude for your kindness for your donations to my classroom and my students.”

  • Feel It and Hear It in Kindergarten!

    Your kindness and generosity has allowed my students the ability to maintain focus and concentrate on individual, differentiated tasks. This allows me as an educator to meet the needs of all my students. These wonderful headphones and alphabet poppers has given me the opportunity to make my reading stations hands-on, differentiated, and exciting for the students.

    The students have been asking every single day for the opportunity to explore the reading app, EPIC! This would not be possible without the use of these quality headphones. Students can choose different books that interest them to listen to. This allows these young learners to gain an appreciation for reading and listening skills for comprehension and fluency. The alphabet and number "Pop Its" will help kindergarteners learn foundational reading and math skills through kinesthetic learning. These hands-on, washable, silicone resources will also allow students to build upon foundational skills once mastered. Such as, adding and subtracting in Math. Segmenting, blending, and building CVC words in Reading. There are many modes of learning, auditory is another important one in Kindergarten! My Kindergarten class now has access to a class set of iPads, which have some amazing Reading and Math apps downloaded on them. However, it's very difficult to hear when there are 23 iPads talking at once. These durable, kid-friendly headphones will allow students to focus and concentrate on their individual task at hand without distraction.
