  • Middle School PE Sports Equipment

  • Disc Golf for Beginners in PE

    Thank you again for donating towards our new disc golf sets! We really appreciate your generosity!

    We are using the disc golf sets to teach students a game that they may not have played and a game that they can play competitively or recreationally for the rest of their lives.

    When our students first saw the new materials, they were very excited and eager to begin the new activity. We have been leading up to the new unit this week and we're excited to get outside and play!

    For our next project we are wanting to upgrade our fitness materials!”

  • Middle School Physical Education Equipment

    Funded May 7, 2022

    We love the new PE equipment we received last Spring. We, as PE Teachers and students are very appreciative of our donor's and their generosity to help us purchase some much needed PE equipment. We have used the new resources to continue playing some games that we have always played, but the quality of the equipment has improved so much! We are even playing a few new games because we have enough equipment now.

    Our students were very excited when we received our new equipment. They all wanted to use the new stuff right away!

    We are going to continue to help our classroom and curriculum grow by playing more games and activities using our new equipment.”

  • What's Pickleball?!

    Funded May 3, 2021

    We are very excited to have the new Pickleball equipment at Nevada Middle School. We introduced the game to our students last spring. We are playing Pickleball in our Physical Education classes this semester.

    The students were excited when they saw the new equipment and they were eager to learn the new game. They had a lot of fun playing Pickleball last spring and we look forward to teaching the students more specific skills this fall so that they can continue to learn and enjoy the game even more.”

We want our students to stay active outside of our classroom/gym. We try to teach them many different games and sports so that they can find something they like and want to continue to play after they have had our class. Pickleball is a fun and growing lifetime sport. It is becoming popular in our community. However, a lot of our students have never heard of or played pickleball. We want to teach them the game and let them experience another game that is easy to learn and play outside of school.

About my class
