Students will have hands-on learning with our plant unit. This project is specifically linked to our state science standards and provide a real life lesson they can carry throughout their lifetime. Students will first study about plants, how a plants grows, what it takes for a plant to grow, then grow their own plants! The best part about this project will be to eat their own plant. Students will be able to take their own plants home and grow them after they have planted and watched their seedlings grow. When students experience growing first hand they will be more likely to have a positive learning experience and learn life skills.
