With these materials, a screen printing press, and printing squeegees, my students will print their own t-shirts. They will not only learn about the physical process of printing, but they will also learn about design, the elements of art, and the business side of production and marketing their goods. After learning the basics of the process of screen printing, the students will spend time analyzing successful shirt designs and creating a design that is both aesthetically pleasing and delivers a message. We will print shirts with our own designs and sell them on campus. We will learn how to price our goods based on the prices of materials, the time spent producing them, and the price points that appeal to our consumers, while maintaining a margin for making a profit. We can't wait to get our creative juices flowing! and are looking forwards to getting our new materials
