Smart Seats for Science
Funded Mar 1, 2025I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in supporting our science lab. Your contributions are not just about furniture - they are about giving students the freedom to move, think, and learn in ways that spark curiosity and innovation. Now they will have a space that truly supports their exploration. I am so grateful to have you as partners in fostering a love for science.”

Grow & Give: Kids Cultivating Community
Funded Nov 26, 2024Our students have been putting the new resources to incredible use in our hydroponics lab! With the containers we received, we were able to package fresh salads made from our hydroponic lettuce, basil, tomatoes, and peppers and donate them to local community fridges. This project has been a meaningful experience for our students, allowing them to see the full cycle of growing, preparing, and giving back to the community.
When our students first saw the materials, they were excited and immediately started brainstorming creative ways to make the meals special. In addition to preparing the salads, they designed beautiful labels and handwritten cards so that anyone who picks up a meal knows it was made with care.
Next, we are expanding our project by growing new crops and exploring how to scale our food donations. Students are also investigating food equity and sustainability, learning how small efforts like ours can make a big impact. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life—your generosity has made a real difference!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Amber
This classroom project was brought to life by Young Sheldon and 3 other donors.Gardening inside a City Classroom
Funded Jun 2, 2021Thank you for your generous donation. This project has given the students in my class so much. They have enjoyed learning to grow their own food indoors and have taken such pride/ownership in their farm.
My students have decided to share their crops and plan to deliver their next harvest to a Community Fridge. I couldn't be more proud of this Thanksgiving offering.
Our next mission is to grow and distribute to members of our school. This will encourage young students to try new varieties of leafy greens.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Amber
