I want my students to see themselves, their families, and their cultures in my Speech Room. I also want them to learn about the diverse world around them and develop a love for reading. I love to use literacy-based activities to help my students work on their language and articulation goals to introduce them to new vocabulary, people, and worlds. I am increasing my use of thematic units to help with learning new topics to introduce new language and words. I hope to be able to increase my library of books with new experiences, words, and world views.
