After students have learned the different techniques of great photography, they are eager to go out and try to execute them. I teach them how to apply the rule of thirds, how to vary the angle in a shot, how to utilize light to enhance action, how to get the best shots at a game indoors and outdoors, and a number of other techniques. They go from class to class practicing shots, they use their classmates as models for candid shots, they go to sporting events and shot the action, and they even take shots at home of anything that sparks their creative minds.
Having more cameras will allow my students to be able to practice and work toward perfection as photographers. My students do not own camera and my classes are usually composed of 20 students. We currently have one outdated camera that all of the students must share.
