This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Drive-In and 2 other donors.

We are opening a new makerspace class for our students, and we would like to give them the opportunity to experience 3D printing with a diverse material base and learn the different components of printing with light! The students will sketch, design and build projects made from both 3D printed parts, metal and wood as they learn to design, and fabricate things on the 3D printer and laser cutter. Our students have interests in designing figurines based on popular tv shows and video games, making buildings, planes, cars and other items that we have had design competitions on. Our students are looking forward to the chance to be able to build their creations and compete against each other to see who's design is supreme!
