Help me set up a classroom environment that is organized and reminds students to stay safe. In preparation to greet our returning and new students, for some of which it is their first time attending school, I would like to implement the use of things like carpet markers, dry erase sleeves, and other items that will help facilitate instruction. Carpet markers will help to assist our young students navigate their class since they will serve as helpful reminders of maintaining their distance from their friends and to stay in their own space during this time of social distancing. It continues to be very important to maintain a well-organized classroom and in acquiring these items we can continue to learn with special attention to safety. These materials will help students navigate their classroom safely with friendly reminders to keep social distance. Velcro spots and carpet markers will help serve as a way to divide our physical space as students become familiar with staying healthy in their own space. Additionally, items such as dry-erase pocket sleeves are a helpful tool to practice early skills while also being easy to sanitize after individual use. Finally, pocket charts will be very useful in supporting students to learn the daily classroom schedule by providing everyone with easy to follow visuals in an organized chart.
