Help Students Breakout of the Mundane with Breakout EDU
Funded Dec 18, 2023My students are so excited about their new resource. The daily puzzles on Breakout EDU have become their motivation for completing their weekly assignments so that they can work on the daily puzzle. They are beginning to think outside of the box and look at how to solve problems in different ways.
In addition to their improvement on thinking outside of the box, they are also engaging their productive thinking rather than playing mindless games when they finish their work. They WANT to do this for free time. Students are also learning how to work collaboratively and learn from their peers, which is huge!
I cannot thank you enough for funding this incredible resource for my students. There is still so much they are going to be able to accomplish with Breakout EDU.”

Real-World Math
Funded Mar 11, 2023The Real-World Math board game was so valuable for my student's learning. They were able to practice keeping a budget of how much money they have and are spending in a way that was tangible, fun, and really made sense to them. Then, they were able to take that knowledge and have a smoother process during our Financial Literacy Day where students played a real-life game of LIFE! The conversations among students while playing this game was so beneficial. I could hear them helping one another, talking about how much things cost, how they would handle to situations in the game, etc. The learning experience they gained through this game was invaluable. Students also kept begging to play it!
I am thrilled to be able to use this game and watch its continuing impact groups of students in the years to come!”

Funded May 4, 2021My students are able to hear their lessons with comfortable headphones that give them quality sound. Many students have deficits in reading and our math curriculum has a lot of reading involved. The headphones allow them to focus on learning and understanding the math concepts rather than trying to struggle through figuring out how to read the problems at the same time. Students also are able to come in my classroom no matter what class they are in to check out the headphones. This allows them to have an enriched learning experience outside of my classroom as well!”
