My students have diverse learning styles and have needs that cannot always be met in the general education classroom. I love to give my students choice and a voice in our room. I like to provide students with different forms of seating options. However, there are times when they need to sit at our tables for our small group learning activities, and being sedentary can often lead to off-task behaviors. Giving my students alternative, comfortable seating options will cut down on distracting behaviors and increase student engagement. I would like to provide a unique learning environment for my students where they can have the option of "moving" while in their seat, Students will have the ability to choose a seating option that works best for them and will allow them to focus on their work to be the best student they can be!
