The Whole Series!
Funded May 5, 2022Thank you so much for your kind donations! With your help my students were able to have access to this awesome book series. It was amazing to see my students socialize with each other and have deep conversations about the books. They even started their own book club to discuss the characters and events.
These books not only helped increase their love for reading, but they also showed my students how art class can be meaningful and have a strong impact on their lives. My students love to draw and saw how their art skills could transfer into future careers. Thank you for your support!”

Funded Oct 5, 2021Thank you so much for your kind donation. You have truly made a difference in the lives of my students. Everyday they are excited to come to school and learn using these new devices. These laptops have helped create consistent routines in my classroom, something in which the students thrive on. Additionally, they have allowed me to create daily interactive lessons for my students, which also benefits my diverse learners.
When the students were asked what their favorite part about the new laptops were,
one student exclaimed that they love the fact that it is a touch screen! Another student stated that they love that the computers are strictly for our class and that we do not have to share them. Another student said that the laptops help make the lessons come to life and more engaging. Lastly, another student stated that he loves that they are modern. It is amazing to see my students come to school and be so eager to learn with them.
These laptops have also helped my students with a sense of responsibility and ownership. In the morning one group of students are responsible for coming into the classroom, taking out the chargers and plugging them in. At the end of the day another group of students are responsible for shutting down the computers, collecting the chargers and putting them away. This process has truly enhanced their executive functioning skills.
Thank you again, we appreciate all of your support!”

Ms. Babbin
