I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generous contribution to my DonorChoose project. Your support has made a significant impact on our Forensics program here at Waipahu High School.

Thanks to your funding we were able to acquire essential laboratory equipment. These resources, the utility carts, lab equipment and electronic scales, have helped our students to continue to expand their knowledge.

Specifically your contribution enabled us to conduct an impactful project focused on DNA analysis and entomology. Students were able to:

Collect entomological samples, extract DNA, barcode samples and amplify DNA, run gel electrophoresis and utilize DNA databases. They gained invaluable skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretations, preparing them for future studies and careers in STEM.
