Most of my students are coming to school for the very time. As a first year teacher I am in need of basic supplies to make my students learning more meaningful and engaging.
Essential tools such as colored pencils, expo markers, and white boards are a contributing factor in raising their engagement level up and getting them pumped up to learn new things. The majority of my students come from low income homes where they don't have many things to call their own.
Through my project I want to provide my students with supplies they can call their own so they can feel empowered and take ownership of their learning on a daily basis in my classroom.
