• Let There Be Paint!

  Thank you for your donations to my classroom. Because of your generosity, my students are able to express themselves in new and creative ways through art making. I only wish you could have seen there smiling faces when we opened up the beautiful art supplies. Now my students are working hard on their oil pastel self portraits and they are amazing!

  We created portfolios for the students, this is a place where they can keep all their artwork for the year, which is so helpful for classroom organization. Once again, I want to thank you for your donations!”

• Great Supplies, Beautiful Work

  Thank you very much for your donations. This projects has highly impacted my students in immeasurable ways. We were able to create beautiful works of art on paper that was provided by this Donors Choose Project. We have painted master copy paintings in Art I, We have used the paper to make linoleum block prints in Art II, and in my advanced classes we have used all of these supplies to create a cohesive body of works that will be part of my students senior portfolio. My students were overjoyed to see all the new supplies. One student replied, " It's like Christmas!" when seeing all the supplies for the first time. Thank you all once again for your generous donations.”

• ImPRESSive Artwork

  Our students just completed their first linoleum printing project. They are so excited about this new experience. I have a few students that found their new favorite medium. This was made possible with your help. My students have hardly explored the art world outside of my classroom. Donating to this project has expanded my student's world in amazing ways. I had one student take such an interest in printmaking that she is now considering opening up her own t- shirt company this summer. Once again, I would like to thank all of the donors for making this purchase possible.”

• With Quality Supplies Come Great Art Projects!

  My students have been loving all our new resources. Because of your donation my students are able to use mixed media paper without the paper falling apart. These higher quality materials allow my students to feel successful while creating their artwork. Students are always very hesitate to start creating. They are scared of failure. The funds we received have given my students confidence in their art making abilities. Students started the year studying composition and line. This project is that aha moment for most students. They realize, using watercolor, mixed media paper, and sharpie, that they can create beautiful works of art. You have given this opportunity to my students!”

• The Painting Project

  Thank you for all the support. We have really gotten off to a great start for the school year. My students just completed their first line design on their high quality paper. They now understand basic design principles while experimenting with watercolor on watercolor paper. My more advanced students are using charcoal to create a highly realistic still life drawing. My students are very grateful for the opportunity to create professional grade work with professional grade materials.The students were so happy to receive all the new supplies! It was a real step up from last years supplies!
