Since Covid, students are having to do the majority of their work on electronic devices and many struggle with this. Reading novels on an iPad is difficult for many and not healthy as it strains the eyes and impedes comprehension. Our school can't afford novel sets so this will be an asset for many students now and in the years to come. Students love holding a real book and I believe it makes reading more engaging. Although we live in a world of technology, nothing can replace holding a novel in your hands and turning the pages one by one.
