Every year I assemble folders for each of my students. In these folders I print handouts with the alphabet, a number chart with the numbers 0 to 100, a handout with the colors and shapes, and a handout with frequently used words. Each sheet is place in a sheet protector so they can use it as a reference guide.
Most of my students come to me not knowing their letters, numbers, colors, etc.. so I assemble these folders to help them learn the basic foundation they need to help them begin to read, write, and do math concepts.
These folders will help students build their foundation to succeed in Reading, writing and arithmetics. The folder acts as a reference when they need help with homework or when they need to write a word or for a math problem. The students are able to take home their folders to use them for homework or to review/write letters, numbers, colors, and shapes These folders can also be used in class when doing a class assignment they may look in these folders to help them spell out words or even do an addition problem.
