• End of the Year Clean Up and Prep

  THANK YOU for your help to get my classroom cleaned up and off to a great start this school year! We use our white boards and dry erase markers daily. We started the year writing letters and numbers and now we are working on short WORDS!

  Each student is able to have a water bottle to use during the school day. We used the vinyl to put each student's name on their bottle. This cuts back on sharing germs at the water fountain!

  I truly can't thank my friends and family, as well as the donors that match and support teachers, enough! Without you, my job would be a lot more expensive or not as much fun for the students!”

• A classroom set of headphones and materials

  Thank you for your kindness and generosity by donating items to my classroom. We received our classroom set of headphones just as the school supplied headphones started to stop working for a few students. They are a much higher quality and seem like they will last us all year! They make our iPad learning activities much more manageable in a classroom full of students.

  The colored card stock has been great for doing crafty learning projects with the students. I feel that combining learning with creativity and fun makes a lasting impression on the student's desire to want to learn more.

• My New Kindergarten Classroom Rug

  Thank you for your kindness and generosity by donating toward a rug for my new classroom. Making the transition from first grade to Kindergarten was more difficult than I imagined. Setting up a new classroom for the first time in 16 years was a challenge. However, I have received MANY compliments on how nice my new classroom looks. Nearly all of the compliments include a comment about how AMAZING my new rug looks.

  The spaces on the rug are large enough for students to sit in their own space comfortably while adding a bright, beautiful touch to our learning environment.

  We use our new rug numerous times a day. We sit on it to listen to stories and learn calendar skills. We sing, dance for movement breaks, and free choice play on it also and it has only been one week with kiddos!

  I am looking forward to a great year of learning and fun on our new classroom rug! Thank you again for your support! It means the world to me!”
