Our school provides Chromebooks for our students. My class is a media productions class. We create and edit videos. Our district does not have a video production/editing software approved for Chromebooks. We do however use iMovie, which is only available on Apple products. Having iPads will allow my students to create and edit videos during class, under my guidance, rather than having to use whatever software they have on their smart phones or home computers. This will allow me to actually teach video editing skills in class through small group instruction.
