• Headphones For All

  I really appreciate your donation to my classroom. My students were so excited when they saw me open the box full of brand new headphones! It was awesome.

  The students are used to having to search for working headphones but your donation allowed me to have enough for each student. I used the headphone hooks to attach to the student tables so now each student has a set hanging within reach. It is super convenient when they need to listen to a video for a project.

  My students were so excited to see the new art supplies! Their faces just lit up when I showed them good artist markers, fountain pens, and canvases. You could just see the wheels turning as they thought of what they would create. It's so fun to see their reactions to the new supplies.

• LIGHT Up the Classroom

  My students were so excited when I started opening the boxes of new lights for my classroom! They could not wait to put them to use. They even helped me get them all set up.

  As soon as we got all the lights up, we turned off the overhead fluorescent lighting. The room was still plenty bright enough to see, but it was so much more relaxing and soothing. All the students were commenting on how much different it felt. I even had students say they felt calmer.

• Art Supplies for At Risk Students

  My students were so excited to see me opening the packages of new art supplies! The oohs and aahs were wonderful to hear! They cannot wait to be able to use the good, quality art supplies.

  The students will be using the new supplies on all sorts of projects. They will be able to practice various techniques using paint, pastels, markers, pens, and pencils. Then they will create their own individual works of art using the techniques they learned. They are all very excited to be able to actually put their work on a canvas instead of just on paper.

  Your generous donations have allowed my students an opportunity to not only create and express themselves, but also to feel special and worthwhile. I am so excited to see what they come up with.”

• Classroom Storage

  Funded May 17, 2021

  The classroom storage donations have been so helpful in my classroom. I was able to store paint and other art supplies in a convenient, easy to access area for my students. It also keeps the supplies neat and organized.

  The students were actually excited to see my new storage. They loved the aesthetic of the paint storage. They also really like the organization and easy access of the drawers. My students come from an underprivileged background. Seeing that we got quality supplies just for them makes them feel really good.

• Art Class

  My students were so excited to see the new art supplies in my classroom. We have never had art classes before so when they first found out that it would be offered, they were thrilled. Then when I told them we had brand new, nice art supplies for them, it was like Christmas.

  So far, my students are in the beginning stages of learning about art. They have been able to use the paints and colored pencils to demonstrate what they learned about color theory. They have also used the drawing pens to create expressive line artwork. There are many more projects in store as they progress.
