The writing center I am asking for will allow students to have a dedicated space to independently practice their growing writing skills. By providing a space for students to work in dependently they can work at their own pace on new and existing skills. The dry erase markers will be available to students daily in our new writing center along with the clear overlays and tracing alphabet cards. Tracing is a great way to encourage writing and have students practice writing their names. This is a skill they will need to know before entering kindergarten.
