I am a new teacher and a classroom library will benefit my kindergarten class throughout the year. Reading is one of the most important skills a child can learn. When a student is given a chance to pick out a book they want to read, they begin their journey of growing their love of reading! It is my goal to ensure my students develop a love for reading and become lifelong readers. Students will then be encouraged to read other books at their level and become strong independent readers. I would love to have a collection of kindergarten and first-grade level books.

About my class
