I would love to have a classroom set of Scholastic Arts magazines for my students this year and for more years to come. These magazines will provide more opportunities to incorporate reading into my art curriculum as keep up with the ever changing art world. Our art textbooks are outdated, these magazines provide relevant and current news, techniques geared toward students today. These magazines often share student work and interviews, making it more relevant for this age group. Having enough for the students to not have to share will help me keep the students socially distanced and safer for in person learning.
