The snow keeps falling in New York City. This means my students are not going outside for gym or for a walk in the community. They need a recreation option to ward off cabin fever. I currently teach special education students, the majority of whom are on the autistic spectrum. The nature of their disability affects their education, social and athletic opportunities. Our urban setting also means most live in apartments which don't have room for a ping pong table. Our kids would love to be able to learn how to play and we'd love to experience some fun time together.
