  • Preschool Tech!

    Funded Apr 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations towards "Preschool Tech", A laptop was chosen to give the students the opportunity to learn how the laptop works and how to use it. Our desktop was such a success in the classroom we wanted to add another form of technology to our technology center. The students learned so much on how a desktop works and how to use the mouse and keyboard; now we want to introduce a laptop to them. We will teach them how laptops are portable and how the mouse and keyboard are built into the laptop. We will share lots of learning games and activities.”

  • Who Doesn't Love Books!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you for your donations and support in "Who Doesn't Love Books!" I chose to focus on getting our students to enjoy books again. Books are for reading but they are also made for exploring. I chose all types of books from fiction to nonfiction, sad, happy, ABC's and 123's. This variety of books is going to be something my students will enjoy. Reading to young children is an important way to help them build language skills. It exposes them to new words and ways of using language. It also helps them learn general information about the world, which makes it easier for them to learn about new subjects once they get to school. Thank you again for your donations.”

I would like to thank each and everyone who contributed to my project. My students was able to learn about the different kinds of food and the variety of different food that they wasn't aware of. We look up the different kind of food group on the laptop to see how to prepare them and what food group they belong too.

They was amazed to learn about the different food. And to see the different shape and colors. Some of my students wasn't aware of the difference between fruits and vegetables. I wish I could have let them tasted some of them”

A laptop was chosen to better serve our students nutritional needs. Since the pandemic a lot of our work has been done at home such as ordering food and supplies. The laptop will make a big difference for us when completing documentation and sending out nutritional recipes and activities to our students and families. A balanced diet is key to healthy eating habits because it provides children with the nutrients they need to grow. Such a diet should contain three daily meals and two healthy snacks with foods of the following food groups: protein, carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, dairy foods, some fat and sugar.
