This iPad will engage the student in current, engaging, and interactive lessons using the most current and up to date technological practices and apps. iPads offer mobility that can not be matched by a laptop computer. This iPad, with airplay, will allow me to be able to move around the classroom to monitor students and use proximity while engaging my students in interactive lessons. Teachers are limited on time and cutting time out of the little things will save you. I will be able to walk around the classroom while switching apps, slides, nearpods, leading out a collaborative board, setting a class timer, quickly launch tests/quizzes, take the class on an interactive tour through different parts of the world, record videos of the students work, record student performance, take attendance, use do mindfulness activities, turn on music. The iPads use will be magnified by the Apple Pencil that will offer use of new apps such as adobe illustrator. This iPad will also allow me to gather all of my data all in one place from anywhere in the classroom. Some of the applications that I will use on the iPad are Quizzes, ClassDojo, Stage, Classroom Screen, Keep The Score, Too Noisy, Classroom timer, wheel decide, nearpods, google classroom, Skyward, MC Teacher, Flipgrid, Google Translate, Maps of our World, Google Earth, Adobe Illustrator Draw, Calm, Headspace, Spotify, Jamboards, and Kahoot.
