This is the first time my Kindergarten students have ever been in school. In a typical year, they come in with lots of enthusiasm and energy; this year is especially full of energy as students are only now learning how to "be in school". They have had unlimited roaming space while learning at home, and now we are working to be successful at managing ourselves while in the classroom. Having excitement and energy to be at school is a strength. We are learning how to managing our expression and appropriate display of our energy. These "wiggle" tools will help my students be successful by embracing their energy and assisting them to focus.
