The purpose of this carpet is to promote academic and social emotional learning. In kindergarten, we spend a lot of time learning at the carpet, and it helps students transition into a learning body and provide a defintive learning space. This will be a purchase that I use for many, many years and will benefit so many young learners. The carpet is a place that we meet several times a day, whether it be to begin or end the day with a morning or closing meeting or manage conflict between upset kinders.
