I do not have the words to express my gratitude for your support for our project. We try to offer as many opportunities to our students as we can, and your support makes it possible for us to continue to do this. The supplies that you are providing for my students will allow us to encourage independence and teach life skills. We can’t thank you enough for your support and generosity.”

My students will benefit from this project by learning and fostering independent skills needed in their daily adult lives. With the materials, they will be practicing folding, sorting and hanging laundry. They will be encouraged to follow visual steps to wash and dry dishes as well as set a table for meals. It is SO important for my students to have hands on lessons while learning and these materials will assist in giving them real life experiences for their future! Given this project, my hope is that my students will be able to gain more independence as they head into high school and their adolescent lives.
